Steve was incredibly helpful to me when I returned a faulty car to another garage (nothing to do with elliotjarvis). Steve was so knowledgeable and kind he gave me advice and let me borrow their courtesy car to tide me over through a very difficult time. We purchased this lovely car Spring 2023 from Elliott Jarvis cars and another a couple of months later. Sadly the nissan had its whole wing mirror taken off by a lorry coming off the IOW Ferry. We asked Matt for help and he and Steve arranged for us to get a new one fitted by their guy. They even let me have a courtesy car for the.morning. These guys are simply the best! Wouldn't go anywhere else!
After having a recent bad experience buying a car privately, I decided to go to a dealer this time and spent a lot of time looking for the right car, I eventually found the car I wanted and it was at Elliot Jarvis. After reading the many great reviews on Trustpilot and Google I got in touch with them to enquire about the car I wanted, Matt and Steve have been SO helpful sorting things out for me, so friendly, not at all pushy, they aren't like car salesmen trying to talk you into things, they don't ask for deposits to reserve a car, they genuinely want to help and can't do enough for you :)The whole process of finding the car, sorting the finance and taking the car away was smooth and easy. Their cars come with a clean MOT, service and 12 months warranty which really gives peace of mind. I absolutely love my new car, if you're thinking about going with these guys I would 100% recommend them and have been recommending them to friends and family! I'm hoping my car will last me many years but when the time does come to get a new one I would definitely return to Elliot Jarvis as I have total faith in them and I consider them the best place to buy a used car :)

Outstanding customer service
The service was excellent, they made me feel at ease straight away. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They straight away asked if I wanted to take the car for a test drive and allowed me to go out an check the car out. Before I collected the car it was fully MOT'd with no outstanding defects and fully serviced. As standard they gave me a 12 month warranty with the car. Just after getting the car the A/C had a problem, they booked it in straight away with a specialist and was fully rectified. I would certainly recommend these dealers and would purchase another car from them.

Fantastic customer service.My wife and I visited to see a Citroen they offered through Autotrader and Matt and Steve were great. No pressure, relaxed and friendly, Matt gave us a reasonable trade in price on our old car and we arranged a finance deal and extended warranty on the spot. The car was newly listed and still awaiting a few little minor jobs as part of the pre-sales service, so we collected the car a couple of days later. Within the week we had a couple of issues with the car - none of which could have been predicted by EJ Cars - and contacted them to discuss the problems.. Matt and Steve could not have been more helpful, they immediately arranged for us to drop the car back at a convenient time, and when their standard courtesy car was too small for our family needs they even put a replacement car on the road for us to keep us going. I collected our own car back this morning, all work done. Steve and Matt went far above the usually levels of customer service I have had from car salesroom people in the past - and I get the impression that this is simply their normal standard of service. Buying a car is rarely a small purchase, so it's refreshing to know that there are some car sales professionals who take their reputation and the comfort and peace of mind of their customers seriously. We were kept informed at every step, and these guys did everything in their power to make sure we were sorted out and back on the road as soon as possible. I'm definitely of the opinion that how people deal with issues is more important than pretending little problems never happen at all. On that basis, these gents are great. I would very much recommend buying a car from these two guys. (The complementary bottle of bubbly did nothing to influence this review, but was tasty.)

These guys are incredible. They really do go the extra mile. Their afterservice is incredible as well. I broke down, called them to ask for advice as an AA call out would have taken hours, they came out, bought a battery, fitted it and then advised me to go to the garage as my alternator also needed replacing. That was covered by the dealer 12 month warranty which was paid immediately. I advise anyone to use these guys. Good old fashioned honesty, friendliness and professionalism. They're thoroughly decent people as well. Oh, they make great coffee as well.

BEST CAR SELL'S GARAGE EVER
Garages all have a stigma that they rip you off....where did that come from? I don't know but we (mum and I) have been 'ripped off through the years'. Totally no trust in any garage.
I entered Elliot Jarvis with my mum nervous that the same was about to happen, Matt approached us and I just felt like we are OK....we aren't going to get ripped off.
Steve then gave my keys over with a big red ribbon on my car and a very lovely bottle of Prosecco. The changing of documents process was made too easy.
The service I have received is absolutely outstanding and these guys are amazing. Their years of experience doesn't go unnoticed at all. They literally know how to sell a car the right way but also how cars work and who is the right customer for a car. Also they sell lovely trust worthy cars.
There is very cute and lovable dogs sometimes in house which hanging out with feels like therapy. There is sweets, coffee etc for any buyer.
Now the aftercare.....I am under warranty so any fault these guys will fix and also I am getting a little valet.
My mum's car has just broke and she has no hesitation to put her trust on Steve and Matt.

Honesty and helpful service! Something rarely seen in the used vehicle trade. From my very first enquiry about the used SAAB they advertised, they were helpful, friendly, more than honest about the car and were so patient with the many questions I had about her. If I could give more than five stars, I happily would! The car was fully serviced before our 256 mile drive home and the car never missed a beat. They even sent a txt that evening to ask if we had got home safely...how many businesses would do that nowadays?? I couldn't recommend this company enough! In this day and age the service was astounding...fantastic guys and so helpful..as I was waiting, they taxed the car online to save me doing it(at my cost, obviously)and also transferred ownership direct with DVLA. After reading all the reviews online about Elliot Jarvis and a good selection of cars that fit my requirements, I visited their garage to test drive some cars.
The customer service was fab. They were not pushy at all, very informative and made my mum and I feel very reassured we were in the right hands.
After test driving, they didn’t push for a decision that day and said to let them know when I had come to a decision.
Before collecting the car, anything they had spotted that needs fixing or correcting was completed before collection as promised.
Collecting the car was smooth, they reassured us that as with any vehicle, random problems can present themselves at any time, but in this instance they are a phone call away and will correct any issues. I left very happy with my new car.
Later that evening, I did have a slight hiccup with the car. Steve was on the end of the phone on a Friday night to provide advice and the issue was resolved by the following day. I cannot fault their fast response to this issue and how they managed it. Steve was extremely helpful and has checked in to ensure all is still going okay with the car. I feel very reassured that if I do encounter any issues or problems, I can reach them and know it will be resolved.
I’m very happy with my car and I know Ralph(my dog) loves it too

Very friendly, very helpful, not pushy just honest and great service. Would definitely recommend. I contacted Ellliott Jarvis to enquire about a car on Autotrader. They were open and honest and invited me down to have a look. Once i arrived the car was ready for me to view and take for a drive. I asked several questions and all information i requested was available. The guys at the showroom were friendly and welcoming, and was not at all pushy for a 'deal' or a deposit. Once i had left and subsequently decided to buy the vehicle, i let them know and they went over and above by opening up on a Sunday so i could collect the car as they knew i needed it ASAP. Customer service was great, car is great (so far) and i would definitely recommend and use again!
